They came from a cloudless azure sky, nineteen hate bred messengers of a barbarian creed, and they brought America a taste of Hell. For it was Hell we saw unfold before us on that day as its gates opened as if to welcome the perpetrators of an act so huge and so awful it has few which rival it in the history of our world.
Some, for the sake of their political cause, have sought to downplay the magnitude of what occurred on that September day nine years ago today. “More have died elsewhere” they say, and it is true that there was greater loss of life in Nagasaki, Hiroshima and in Dresden, there were single days in Rwanda which saw greater carnage and it is also true that many more die in earthquakes and other natural disasters. However, there is a context to these things, and it was the context of 09/11 which sets it apart from acts of God and from the crimes of other men.

It can be almost guaranteed that any statement or belief which can be deemed to be politically correct is, by the same token, factually incorrect.
Examples can be found in almost every aspect of our society and how we are required to perceive and describe them. It is, for instance, politically correct, and all but mandatory for anyone within the media, law or politics, to insist there is no difference in the rate of street level criminal offending between the races.
As in any totalitarian society it then becomes the role of the state controlled popular media to promote the approved doctrine in the propaganda beamed into the homes of the population by means of misreported news or fictional drama bearing no resemblance to reality, with the effect that, over time, the lie becomes a universally accepted truth.

When the first Western economy collapses under the weight of mass immigration, they will deny its cause, and when the second goes it will be the same. “It is the decline of the West” they will say, “it was predicted” they will crow with delight “the system was flawed”, “it was the fault of capitalism”, “Europeans are finished, we did it to ourselves”. In that last analysis, there will be a ring of truth, for indeed we have brought it on ourselves, at least we allowed it to happen.
We see it happening around us every day, we see our destruction looming, yet we do nothing to stop it, for we dare not name its cause.

After building a career on accusing everyone else (and British Society in general) of racism, it is good to see labour leadership candidate (and would be Prime Minister) Diane Abbott taste her own medicine.

It is hard to contemplate quite how depressing, and certainly embarrassing, the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic games is certain to be now that the director Danny Boyle has being appointed to direct the show.
Those who cringed at the pitiful spectacle presented by Britain at the closing of the 2008 games in Beijing might think it couldn’t possibly get much worse than the gangstas and sundry strumpets which tumbled out of a red double decker to represent some Liberal zealot’s lala land fantasy of London, but they are wrong, it will be infinitely worse.

Some while ago I posted a video at my own blog featuring US army Lieutenant Colonel Terry Lakin explaining his reasons for refusing to be deployed to Afghanistan until US President Barrack Obama provide proof that he is eligible to serve in the role of president. That is to say, proves that he is a natural born citizen of America, as required by the US Constitution.
Lakin contends that, if Obama is not eligible to be president, then he does not have the legal authority to order soldiers to go to war, and in all likelihood kill people.
If that were the case then he, Lakin could be guilty of a criminal act, arguably a war crime in breach of international law were he to obey those orders.
Lakin is facing a court martial over his refusal to deploy and a hearing is scheduled in this Thursday at which a ruling is expected on defense requests for the release of some of the documents which the president has so far withheld.

On Monday night there was a television documentary on called WWI: Finding the Lost Battalions regarding attempts to identify the recently discovered bodies of around 250 British and Australian troops who died during the brutal Battle of Fromelles in July 1916, half way through the First World war and who had been buried in unmarked communal graves.
This process had been made more difficult by the fact that most formal identification had been taken from the bodies mostly by the Germans, who had forwards this on to the Red Cross, so that the families of the dead could be informed that their husband, lover or child had fallen and lay amongst the bodies of his comrades in a foreign field.
Hence, in addition to DNA testing, it was necessary to examine other objects which had lain with the bodies for almost a hundred years.
One particularly poignant item, amongst many, was a tiny leather pouch in the shape of a heart, which when the century old stitches were painstakingly unpicked, revealed its long concealed contents, what remained of a lock of hair. The tiny item, evidence of a love torn apart by that cruel war, had been carried into battle by the object of that love and then it had lain with him throughout that century and into the next.
A small fragile token of a love long forgotten, shared by lovers now long dead, but with the power to touch us now in another time and in another world.

In a speech which Barak Obama made last week, he, the president of America, defined being American as follows. "Being an American" he said "is not a matter of blood or birth; it's a matter of faith."Given the questions which have still not been answered regarding the president's claim to be a "natural born American" and thus eligible to hold the position of US president, one is tempted to say that is a very convenient definition. The implication being the American people should believe that Obama is eligible to serve as their president not on the basis of proof of eligibility but on the basis of faith, which is another word for a belief which does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. Belief that "the one" was born in Hawaii because he says so, and belief that a "Certification of Live Birth" is the same thing as a birth certificate because he says it is. However, Obama's definition of American is even more convenient, and flexible, than that, it is not only the definition which enables him to claim he is eligible for the job be holds, but it is one which, if he is very lucky and very devious, may just enable him to stay in the job.

Anyone who has watched Channel 4 for in excess of twenty minutes within the last ten days will know that they will be showing a series of documentaries over this coming week entitled “Bloody Foreigners” which they describe as “highlighting the role played by foreigners at iconic moments and crucial turning points in British history”.
The multicultural zealots at channel 4 certainly seem very anxious to promote “Bloody foreigners” as the trailer for the series seems to run between every programme and almost at the end of every commercial break. Again and again the same commercial is repeated as if the makers are desperate that nobody should fail to notice it is on or not understand what it is all about.
“We are an Island nation, we have withstood invasion and foreign intervention for centuries ....or so we like to think!” snarls the narrator “However, if you take a closer look and you will find the people who sailed the ships and fought the battles which forged this country, weren't always British!” by this point, if you shut your eyes, you can imagine the drops of saliva drooling down his chin as he spits the words into the microphone, the final word “British” almost hissed with twisted lipped contempt. His words are spoken , aggressively, challengingly, almost threateningly like a playground bully pointing to an imagined victory, or maybe a rapist reminding his victim what's been done to her.
Whatever the views of the actor reading the lines, his venomous delivery certainly manages to embody the hatred and contempt with which the elitist effluent who commissioned this series view the native people of our islands.
